Urchin wines bring Tacos to Margate and it's something that I could not be more happy about.
Tacos are arguably the best communal food and taste even better while sharing a few bottle of wine.
Following their sell-out supper club series, Scotch + Ginger are back with a Margate residency at Urchin Wines throughout the whole of November from Wednesday to Sunday.
Scotch + Ginger feasts are shaped by what’s in season. The menu will change each week their food is sourced from local businesses and producers, (because we all know it tastes better that way) they even make their own sea salt.
but you can expect seasonal deliciousness such as:
- Tortilla chips and tomatillo salsa
- Cockle tostada
- Carnitas tacos
- Vegan cauliflower tacos
- Drunken beans
- Margate rice made with Walpole Bay salt
- Apple crumble taco
- Caramel flan

A food writer and a chef with numerous supper clubs and large-scale events under their belt, they’re passionate about good food and good times. Scotch might not always wear a kilt, but Ginger is always ginger.
They are a supper club where you can expect all the delight of a restaurant tasting menu, but with the relaxed, pass-me-the-wine feeling of dinner with friends.
